28th of June, 30th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relationship between Georgia and the Islamic Republic of Iran was marked in the Institute for Political and International Studies.
In 7th February, at the request of Iranian side, H.E Ambassador of Georgia Ioseb Chakhvashvili hold a meeting with the head of national security and foreign affairs committee of parliament, Mr. Abbas Golru.
In 28th January, at the Embassy of Georgia in Tehran, H.E Ambassador Ioseb Chakhvashvili hosted Charge d'Affaires of Argentina.
In 15th November, in the embassy of Georgia in Tehran, H.E Ambassador of Georgia Joseph Chakhvashvili hosted H.E Ambassador of the United Kingdom Simon Shercliff.
On September 19, held a meeting between H.E Ambassador of Georgia Mr. Ioseb Chakhvashvili and head of division of Georgia-Armenia at Ministry of Foreign Affairs of I.R of Iran.
In 13th August, in the embassy of Georgia in Tehran, H.E Ambassador of Georgia Joseph Chakhvashvili met with H.E Ambassador of the Republic of Korea Yun Kangheyon. Ambassadors discussed about the Georgian-Korean relationships and prospects, and briefly reviewed the latest developments in the region.
On 5th August, the inauguration ceremony of Ebrahim Raisi took place at the parliament in Tehran. On behalf of Georgia, deputy of Minister of Foreign Affairs Alexander Khvtisiashvili and H.E Ambassador of Georgia Joseph Chakhvashvili attended the ceremony.
On 29th June a meeting was held between Ambassador of Georgia H.E Joseph Chakhvashvili and head of Iran-Georgia Parliamentary friendship group Adel Najafzadeh in Parliament of Islamic Republic of Iran.
On 22th June the meeting between H.E ambassador of Georgia in Islamic Republic Iran Mr. Joseph Chakhvashvili and deputy of head of committee of economy of Islamic Majles of Iran Mr. Seyed Ehsan Khanduzi took place.
On the October 4, 2015 the Tehran Persian Language Center ("Kānūn-e zabān-e fārsī") hosted the evening dedicated to the prominent Georgian Iranologist, folklorist, scholar, poet and translator from Persian language, the late Mr. Vakhushti Kotetishvili.
