Welcome to the web-site of the Embassy of Georgia in Islamic Republic of Iran.

Diplomatic relations between Iran and Georgia were established in 1992, and in 1994 the Embassy of Georgia officially began functioning.

There is a centuries-old experience of bilateral relations between Georgia and Iran, which includes political, economic and cultural spheres. One of the major tasks for the Embassy of Georgia in Tehran, alongside the protection of the interests of Georgia and its citizens, is to continue and deepen these relations.

It is a great honor for me to serve as the Ambassador of Georgia to the Islamic Republic of Iran and I hope that information posted on the website will be useful to you.
