30th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relationship between Georgia and the Islamic Republic of Iran
28th of June, 30th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relationship between Georgia and the Islamic Republic of Iran was marked in the Institute for Political and International Studies.
The event was attended by representatives of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran, former Iranian ambassadors in Georgia, experts of IPIS, Iranian media and members of the Embassy of Georgia in Tehran.
The ambassador of Georgia H.E Iseb Chakhvashvili, deputy of the head of IPIS Mr.Qafelebashi and former Iranian ambassadors in Georgia delivered speeches.
During the event, both sides congratulated each other the establishing diplomatic relations and discussed political, economic and cultural issues. Moreover, parties underlined the importance of maintaining and intensification of current dynamic in relations.
In the framework of the event, hold an exhibition of the documents those have been singed over the 30 years period.
